The State of the Arts

The MRT Lecture Series has proven to be an exciting addition to the cultural calendar. Following the success of the inaugural series in 2007, another four of the most prominent figures within the cultural sector speak their minds this year.

Each speaker has nominated a charity to which funds will be donated:

• George Ferguson: Tree Aid
• Professor Sir Christopher Frayling: CLIC Sargent of Bristol
• Nicholas Kenyon CBE: Dartington Hall Trust
• Professor Tim Blanning: Musicians Benevolent Fund

All lectures take place at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7. The entrance is on Exhibition Road.

The lectures begin at 6.45 p.m. There is a cash bar from 6.00 p.m.

Tickets cost £15. A set of 4 tickets (1 per lecture) costs £50.
